If you are a prescribing medical practitioner, chances are that you have seen patients suffering from hormonal conditions. Whether they are experiencing physical symptoms such as acne, or hormonal shifts like menopause, these conditions require effective diagnosis and patients deserve to see every treatment option available to them.
Your Patients
The Marion Gluck Training Academy will equip you with the knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat patients suffering from a wide range of hormonal imbalances, including peri-menopause, menopause, PMS and more. If you are able to fulfil the increasing demand for alternative treatment options, you will be able to better help your patients achieve optimum health and hormonal balance, offering them new hope and opportunity to manage symptoms that they will often have been told were unable to be managed.
Your Knowledge
Over the two courses, you not only learn how to prescribe medications but also cover diagnosis, blood test results, nutrition, consultations and more, giving you every tool to effectively treat patients with everything from simple hormonal imbalances to more complex issues. This invaluable knowledge will stay with you for life, opening up new career opportunities, enabling the shift to private practice or helping your business to expand beyond conventional medicine. Not only are our expert trainers ready and waiting to impart their extensive knowledge and experience on both of our in-depth training days, but you will also receive ongoing support from the training academy as you implement your knowledge for your patients. This support will increase your confidence further and means you will continue to learn even after the course ends.

Who Should Attend?
Our training course enables you to offer patients bio-identical hormone replacement therapy with confidence. We recommend that you attend both Course 1 and Course 2 to gain a full understanding of this complex subject. Some practitioners do the courses on consecutive days whilst others prefer to separate the courses. Whatever your learning requirements, the courses will meet your needs.
General Practitioners
If you are a GP looking to expand your practice and offer patients a wider range of treatment options, then training in hormone balancing therapy using bio-identical hormones is highly beneficial for you and your patients . You will learn how to better address the hormonal issues that you may see on a daily basis in your practice, such as peri-menopause, menopause and PMS.
Gynaecologists
As many gynaecological issues are hormone related, you can benefit from a full understanding of how BHRT is different to synthetic options available, and how it can be effectively used to treat common conditions.
Aesthetic Nurses and Doctors
If you are an Aesthetic Doctor or prescribing Aesthetic Nurse, then your expertise in bio-identical hormones will open up new treatment pathways for your patients. Hormones are key in the ageing process, as well as influencing hair, skin and general wellbeing and bio-identical hormones can be used to both prevent and treat common issues such as acne or hair loss. Many aesthetics practitioners have successfully integrated BHRT into their practice, enabling patients to both look and feel better
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to attend the course, health practitioners are required to be a prescribing medical professional registered with an appropriate regulatory body (GMC/GDC/NMC/GPhC) and must have a registration number (within EU). By attending the course, it is assumed that you have some knowledge and/or experience in women’s health and gynaecological conditions.
Non UK registered prescribers are unable to issue a prescription for unlicensed medication to a UK pharmacy unless you have a UK partner to verify prescriptions on your behalf.
